TAMinations are the Square Dance animations of the Tam Twirlers Square Dance Club. This is one of the best sources for reviewing square dance moves. All levels are available and many calls have several animations from different starting positions.
Clicking on the St. Louis District Clubs will get you to all the clubs we can dance with in our area. Once there, you can click on a specific club name and it will list all their scheduled dances for the year.
The Square Dance CD site above offers software for purchase showing animated illustrations of square dance movements. Although the software is not free, the site does have a number of examples of moves from Basic, Maintstream, Plus and Advanced. The animations from this site appear easier to follow than some of the other sites we've found, so if you like the examples, it might be worth the investment.
The Dosado.com website offers history and other information on square dancing. The link above takes you to their Call Lists and Definitions page where printed lists and descriptions of square dance moves in both HTML and PDF format are available.
